Michael Harlan
The family I live with consists of my mom and dad, Chris and Jason, and my brother Justin. On my mothers side, there is my grandmother Ginny and an abundance of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paternally, I don't have nearly as many close family members, there are my grandma LaVonne, my grandpa Matt, my uncle Jeremiah, and my cousin Ayden.
Throughout my time at Kalkaska High School, I have participated in three sports. My freshman, sophomore, and junior years I wrestled in the 171 and 189 pound weight classes. Additionally, I ran hurdles and ran relays for the varsity track and field team my freshman year. The third sport I participated in, and the one I enjoyed most, is football, which I played my freshman, sophomore, and senior years, playing this year on the fourth team in Kalkaska High School history to make playoffs.

In addition to my athletics and academics, I have been in the KHS Bands throughout high school. I have marched with the high drumline since eighth grade and have played in the concert and jazz bands for two years each, having to work my music classes in with my required classes.
